In June 2014 the business attained ISO 9001:2008 Quality and ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management Standards. A Quality Management System is a systematic and process-driven approach to managing the business. It is proof that we will provide consistently reliable and fit for purpose solutions. We will improve our customer/supplier relationship by responding proactively to customer feedback and ensure any issues are identified and resolved promptly. By design, the standard ensures we continue to meet and exceed your expectations. An Environmental Management System is a systematic and process-driven approach to controlling aspects of our business which have a significant impact on the environment. It is reassurance for any of our customers who take an active interest in environmental performance that they are working with a company which promotes a shared environmental ethos. It is proof we are a forward-thinking, environmentally aware organisation that fulfils its corporate social responsibility.
Our current facilities cover just over 160,000 square feet, which is split between a converting unit, offices and three warehouses. In 2007, the UK business started searching for suitable land/premises to amalgamate all areas into one location. The 19-acre site at Blackmore Park in Malvern was purchased in 2013 and following months of design work, the planning application was submitted and approved. The new site consolidates all of our production and sales operations, enabling us to continue servicing the current markets whilst also allowing for future development and expansion into new areas. Through innovative design and continued investment, and Lucart’s desire to create a world-class converting plant is well under way.
